Pastor Jerome Sims, Sr. shares this moving Father’s Day message, “What the Father Wants” on Sunday, June 15, 2008.
The greatest gift a child can offer his father is submission and obedience. The greatest gift a father can give to his child is the example of a submissive and obedient life to our Heavenly Father. Therefore, the greatest gift we can offer to our Heavenly Father is our submission and obedience.
John 14:15-17
“If you love me, obey my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you do, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. “
