“Equipping teens for their Ministry and their Mission!”
Break-Out Sessions:
- The Word of God — Most teens begin to rely more on peers and less on their parents for affirmation and input. The Word of God is the most powerful way to get the point across. The Word of God will be ministered at a level where teens can relate to and understand how the scriptures apply to their lives.
- Cake Decorating — Your Instructor will show you the right way to decorate, step by step. You will share the fun with other young women, who encourage you along the way. As you learn each new decorating skill, you will gain a sense of pride in your accomplishments.
- Decoupage — It does not matter if you are a novice or a professional, decoupage is a great craft to experiment with. You can easily create beautiful and useful works of art using pictures cut out from magazines, wrapping paper, and other sources.
- Career Planning/Marketing & Advertising — Learn how to promote your new business venture to potential customers and clients by learning the most important rules of marketing. Running a business can be a great experience for you. You can make money, you can gain valuable experience, and you can use the business on your resume and college applications.
- Health and Nutrition — As teens become more independent in their food choices, they tend to make the wrong choices – even teens who were brought up eating healthy. In this session, teens will be taught how to develop healthy eating habits and improve their overall health.
